On the wave of the great turnout for electronic music training at the Conservatory of Bologna, the Martini Elettrico review returns again for 2023, creating a bridge between the most diverse expressions of electronic music, sound art and electroacoustic improvisation.

Once again, the formative moment becomes a concert, projecting the Conservatory into a dimension of geographical and linguistic relations capable of making us reflect on the meaning of artistic research and the use of today’s musical technologies, but also on the relationship between creative expressions. Five concerts offering different approaches in a logic of acceptance and expressive freedom.

Very different from each other are the two guest “schools” of the review: on the one hand the electronic openings of Corfu (28/4), and on the other the rigorous and orthodox flair of electronic music from Turin (27/4), led by internationally renowned composers Stefano Bassanese and Andrea Agostini.

Completing the concerts is the usual performance dedicated to Bologna musicians (29/4), once again capable of proposing sound actions of great openness and investigation in the universe of sound and its relations with radical improvisation and music on support Finally, a series of appointments that address the theme of electronic music professions, declined in three meetings with young musicians who have finalized their path in different professional fields, from commercial music production to the field of video games.
