Born in Turin in 1959, lived in Rome from 1971 to 1989, he had his first experiences in audio, hi-fi, radio and microcomputer in 1977, a year before earning his classical maturity.

In 1990 he became a contributor to the magazine “Elettronica Flash” dealing with audio, PC, power supplies, automatic controls and designing some low noise mic preamps, subsequently used in numerous classical music recordings (Accord, Bongiovanni, Bottega Discantica, Carus, Denon, Glossa , MA Recordings, Opus 111, ORF, Phoenix, Stradivarius and Tactus).

In the period 1991-1999 he was external consultant for companies in Turin and belt (ADL, AMC-Italy, DI.3, Dilostamp, Dynamo Sound Studio, ED Stampi, ELINT-IARE, El Charro, Emmesoft, MIPS, SPIN, SRD, Temat , Urmet), dealing with PC repairs and maintenance, audio-video, anti-interception security, reconditioning of electronic devices.

In 2000, after a period spent as a consultant in Shenzhen (RPC), he was hired by the Function Group, a multinational with head offices in China, USA and Taiwan, where, with Mario Balsamo, he was Head of Research and Development hardware for public telephony and anti-fraud systems.
